Issue: rnCertain seats are missing some information that is required by Canadian regulations. Specifically: rn- The symbol for the Lower Universal Anchorage system (LUAS) is not visible on or near the lower connector system; rn- The shape of the airbag label does not match what is required and it is on the wrong side of the seat; and rn- The French instruction manual is missing information on page 9 about choosing the correct slot for the buckle position. rnrnSafety Risk: rnThese small errors are unlikely to affect safety as the information is available to users in more than one place. rnrnCorrective Action: rnThis is not a recall. Owners can continue to use these seats. The company has made changes to improve all new labels and owner's manuals. Owners should contact the company if they have any questions about how to use the seat.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2020457.
