A BOLT THAT SECURES A FUEL LINE SHIELD TO THE LOWER PORTION OF THE DASH PANEL PROTRUDES THROUGH THE PANEL AND MAY INTERFERE WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WHEN THE PEDAL IS FULLY DEPRESSED. UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, THIS COULD RESULT IN THE PEDAL STICKING AT THE WIDE OPEN THROTTLE POSITION. THIS COULD CAUSE POSSIBLE LOSS OF CONTROL AND A VEHICLE CRASH. rnCORRECTION: BOLT WILL BE CUT OFF FLUSH WITH THE TOP OF THE WELD NUT THROUGH WHICH IT PROTRUDES.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1990062.
