On certain motor coaches, insufficient weld and/or weld penetration could result in stress and fatigue cracks at a weld joining a gusset support from the front bogie leg to the steering box mounting plate. This crack could propagate and eventually cause a loss of steering control, which could result in a vehicle crash causing injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install an additional gusset and re-weld as required.
