Issue: rnCertain buses were built with daytime running lamps (DRLs) that don't turn off when the fog lights are switched on. Canadian regulations require the DRLs to turn off when the front fog lamps are switched on. rnrnSafety Risk: rnDaytime running lamps that stay on in foggy conditions could cause glare and reduced visibility. This could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnPrevost will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a Prevost service center to update the daytime running lamp software.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2023379.
