Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the tire inflation pressure label lists the wrong cold tire pressure for the front tires (36 psi/250 kPa instead of 38 psi/260 kPa). Canadian regulations require that the recommended cold tire inflation pressure for the front, rear, and spare tires is listed on the label. rnrnSafety Risk: rnThis small error does not affect vehicle safety. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnThis is not a recall. Kia has made changes to ensure that all new vehicles have corrected tire inflation pressure on the label.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2020582.
