Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the second-row head restraints may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, they may not be able to lock in the upright position. rnNote: This recall affects both the Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L models. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA head restraint that's not positioned correctly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. rnrnCorrective Action: rnFCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the second-row head restraints.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2025382.
