On certain school buses, the service air brake pedal, for both non-adjustable and adjustable brake pedals, may contact the front structure of the floor/firewall, limiting the maximum brake force available. Insufficient air brake pressure can cause extended stopping distances without prior warning, resulting in a vehicle crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the pedal pushrod with a longer one.
