Issue: rnOn certain vehicles equipped with a Weldon Vista IV control panel, an electrical problem could cause the screen to not work properly. As a result, the operator may not be able to control or access certain vehicle functions. Depending on the vehicle configuration, this can affect the emergency warning lights, patient care devices and/or cause the rearview camera image not to display. rnrnSafety Risk: rnEmergency personnel that do not have immediate access to vehicle controls could create a delay in emergency response. Additionally, a rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnE-ONE will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take a photo of the Vista display screen(s) showing the decal with the serial number. E-ONE will verify if each unit is affected and provide a new display, as necessary.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2020587.
