Issue: rnOn a small number of vehicles, a software problem could cause the vehicle alerting system not to work properly. As a result, the vehicle may make the wrong sound when reversing. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA vehicle alerting system that doesn't work properly could create an increased risk of a crash and/or injury. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the acoustic vehicle alerting system software.
