スタータージェネレーターのＢ 端子において、製造管理が不適切なため、 Ｂ＋ケーブルの固定ナットが規定トルクで締め付けられていないものがある。 そのため、走行中の振動等により、当該ナットが緩んで接続が緩むことで抵抗値が増加し、Ｂ端子が異常過熱して警告灯が点灯し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。 または、走行中にエンジンが停止して走行不能となるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、Ｂ＋ケーブルの遊びの有無を点検し、遊びがある場合はショート痕の有無を点検し、以下のいずれかの措置を行う。なお、遊びがない場合はＢ＋ケーブルの固定ナットを規定トルクで締め付ける。 １ ショート痕がある場合 スタータージェネレーターとＢ＋ケーブルを新品に交換する。 ２ ショート痕がない場合 Ｂ＋ケーブルの固定ナットを規定トルクで締め付ける。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
