原動機の始動装置において、イグニッションスイッチの接点部に流れる電流値が大きい ため、主電源を入れる瞬間に大きなアーク放電が生じ、始動操作の繰り返しにより接点が 過度に摩耗して接触圧力が低下するため、走行時の振動等で接点が動き、炭化物に乗り上 げ導通不良となることがあり、最悪の場合、突然原動機が停止するおそれがある。 なお、始動操作で、接点が摺動し炭化物を除去するため、再始動は可能である。What is to be done about it
