What the ministry says is wrong
車両製作工程で制動灯スイッチの接点部に不適切な潤滑剤が付着したため、接点の断続の際に発生する熱により潤滑剤成分が酸化し、当該接点部の接触抵抗が増大するものがある。そのため、接点にはたらく電気負荷が小さいと、当該スイッチが導通不良となり、制動灯及び補助制動灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。 （本件は、平成１７年２月２日付け「届出番号１３５０」にてリコール届出を行ったものですが、対象車両を追加し、新たに届出するものです。）What is to be done about it
