電動パワーステアリングにおいて、ステアリングギヤボックスコントロールユニットのソフトウェアの設計検討が不十分なため、ステアリングモーメントセンサーが故障した際、補助センサーが正しい情報を電動制御モーターに伝えず、ステアリングアシスト機能が不安定になることがある。そのため、走行中、操舵力が増大するほか、ステアリングホイールに振動が発生し、最悪の場合、ステアリングホイールが意図せず旋回するおそれがある。What is to be done about it
