後２軸トラックの後後軸（非駆動軸）ブレーキドラム裏側に装着されている泥水浸入防止 板（ダストカバー）の形状が不適切なため、雨天時等に泥水がブレーキドラム内に浸入し ブレーキのホイールシリンダを伝って内側のハブオイルシールリテーナ部へ滴下する。そ のため、そのままの状態で使用を続けるとリテーナに錆が発生して、オイルシールが摩耗 し、ハブ内に水が浸入して、最悪の場合、ハブベアリングが焼付いて、車両火災、あるい は脱輪に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、ダストカバー、オイルシール、インナハブベアリングリテーナを対策品と交換す る。また、ハブ内部を点検し、ベアリングに異常が見られるものは、新品と交換する。 なお、対策品の全数供給に時間を要するため、当面の暫定措置として、当該部を点検の上 、ハブベアリング、オイルシール、インナハブベアリングリテーナに異常が見られるもの は、新品と交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
