農耕トラクタのステアリングコントローラに付属されるホルダにおいて、水浸入に対する設計が不十分なため、ホルダ内部に水が浸入し、ホルダ内部のシャフトとステアリングコントローラを接続するスプラインに錆が発生することがある。また、振動摩耗に対する設計が不十分なため、錆と振動によりスプラインが摩耗することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けるとスプラインの摩耗が進み、最悪の場合、ステアリングが空転し、ステアリング操作ができなくなるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、水浸入対策としてホルダ上部にシール部材を追加し、振動摩耗対策としてシャフトを対策品に交換する。なお、ステアリングコントローラを含む周辺部品を点検し、周辺部品が固着している場合や、ステアリングコントローラのスプラインが異常摩耗している場合には、関連部品を新品に交換する。※１ 交換部品については、改善箇所説明図を参照。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
