無段変速機において、油圧制御プログラムが不適切なため、一定車速での走行時にアクセルの開閉を頻繁に繰り返す操作を行うと、金属ベルトに亀裂が生じ破損することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、発進、加速不良となり、最悪の場合、走行不能となるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、無段変速機の金属ベルト破損片の有無を点検し、破損片が確認された場合は無段変速機を良品と交換するとともに、無段変速機の油圧制御プログラムを対策プログラムに書き換える。破損片が確認されなかった場合は無段変速機の油圧制御プログラムを対策プログラムに書き換え、故障検知プログラムを追加し、追加後にシフトポジション表示灯が点滅し、当該不具合が確認された場合には、無段変速機を無償交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
