On certain vehicles, a problem with the brake pedal position sensor could cause the electronic stability control (ESC) system not to work.
The safety risk
An electronic stability control system that doesn't work could increase the risk of a crash.
What will be done
FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the brake pedal position sensor.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, un problème avec le capteur de position de la pédale de frein pourrait faire en sorte que le système de contrôle électronique de la stabilité (ESC) ne fonctionne pas. Remarque : Ce problème entraînerait l'allumage du témoin d'avertissement du contrôle électronique de la stabilité (ESC). Risques pour la sécurité : Un système de contrôle électronique de la stabilité qui ne fonctionne pas pourrait augmenter le risque d'accident.
