What the notice says today
The issue
On one RV trailer, the furnace may not have been installed correctly. As a result, exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide could build up inside the trailer when the furnace is used.
The safety risk
A build-up of exhaust gas in the trailer could result in carbon monoxide poisoning.
What will be done
To reduce the safety risk, Forest River recommends not using the furnace until recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their RV trailer to a dealership to install the furnace correctly.

Problème : Sur une caravane, la fournaise pourrait ne pas avoir été installée correctement. Par conséquent, des gaz d'échappement et du monoxyde de carbone pourraient s'accumuler à l'intérieur de la caravane lors de l'utilisation de la fournaise. Risques pour la sécurité : Une accumulation de gaz d'échappement dans la caravane pourrait entraîner une intoxication au monoxyde de carbone. Mesures correctives : Pour réduire les risques pour la sécurité, Forest River recommande de ne pas utiliser la fournaise jusqu'à ce que les réparations dans le cadre du présent rappel aient été effectuées. Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demandera d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer la fournaise correctement.
