The issue
On certain vehicles, the pivot bolt(s) securing the roof crossbars may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the crossbar(s) could detach from the vehicle.
The safety risk
A crossbar that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
What will be done
FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and secure the roof crossbar(s), as necessary.

This recall also affects certain 2023-2026 Wagoneer L models and Grand Wagoneer L models.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le ou les boulons de pivot qui fixent les barres transversales de toit pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés correctement. Par conséquent, la ou les barres transversales pourraient se détacher du véhicule. Remarque : Ce rappel concerne également certains modèles Wagoneer L et Grand Wagoneer L 2023-2026. Risques pour la sécurité : Une barre transversale qui se détache du véhicule pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter le risque d'accident.
