What the notice says today
The issue
On a small number of motorhomes, the ladder for the bunk may not have been properly secured. As a result, the ladder could detach if you use it.
The safety risk
A ladder that detaches could create a risk of injury.
What will be done
To reduce the safety risk, Forest River recommends ensuring that the ladder is stable and secure until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the mattress insert with a metal frame to secure the ladder.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre d'autocaravanes, l'échelle du lit superposé pourrait ne pas avoir été fixée correctement. Par conséquent, l'échelle pourrait se détacher lors de son utilisation. Risques pour la sécurité : Une échelle qui se détache pourrait créer un risque de blessure. Mesures correctives : Pour réduire les risques pour la sécurité, Forest River recommande de s'assurer que l'échelle est stable et bien fixée jusqu'à ce que les réparations dans le cadre du présent rappel aient été effectuées.
