What the notice says today
The issue
On a small number of motorhomes, the bunk bed may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the bunk bed may not be supported properly and could cause a person to fall.
The safety risk
Falling from a bunk bed could create a risk of injury.
What will be done
To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises not to use the bunk bed until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a spacer for the bunk bed.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre d'autocaravanes, le lit superposé pourrait ne pas avoir été installé correctement. Par conséquent, le lit superposé pourrait ne pas être soutenu adéquatement et entraîner la chute d'une personne. Risques pour la sécurité : Tomber d'un lit superposé pourrait entraîner un risque de blessure. Mesures correctives : Pour réduire les risques pour la sécurité, Forest River recommande de ne pas utiliser le lit superposé jusqu'à ce que les réparations dans le cadre du présent rappel aient été effectuées. Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer une cale d'espacement pour le lit superposé.
