Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

Problème : Sur certains camions, un problème de logiciel pourrait faire en sorte que la capacité de freinage de la remorque soit réduite lors du remorquage d'une remorque-citerne sans déflecteurs internes. Risques pour la sécurité : Une capacité de freinage réduite peut accroître les distances de freinage et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Mack doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour mettre à jour le logiciel du véhicule.
