The issue
On certain buses, the screws that secure the bicycle rack to the front of the bus may be too short. As a result, the bicycle rack could loosen and detach.
The safety risk
A bicycle rack that detaches from the bus while driving could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.

Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions on how to secure the bicycle rack with the correct screws.

Problème : Sur certains autobus, les vis qui fixent le porte-vélos à l'avant du véhicule pourraient être trop courtes. Par conséquent, le porte-vélos pourrait se desserrer et se détacher. Risques pour la sécurité : Un porte-vélos qui se détache de l'autobus pendant la conduite pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Nova Bus doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des instructions pour fixer le porte-vélos avec les vis appropriées.
