What the notice says today
The issue
On certain vehicles, the high-voltage battery could overheat.
The safety risk
A battery that overheats can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.
What will be done
To reduce the safety risk, Volkswagen advises that you should set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs have been completed. Volkswagen will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Risques pour la sécurité : Une batterie qui surchauffe peut créer un risque d'incendie, même lorsque le véhicule est stationné et que le contact est coupé.
