What the notice says today
The issue
On certain trucks, the grille and intake bezel(s) may not be attached properly. As a result, a bezel could detach from the truck while driving.
The safety risk
A bezel that detaches from the truck could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
What will be done
Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the bezels. The dealer will also install cable ties, as necessary.

Problème : Sur certains camions, les garnitures de calandre et d'admission pourraient ne pas être fixées correctement. Par conséquent, une garniture pourrait se détacher du camion pendant la conduite. Risques pour la sécurité : Une garniture qui se détache du camion pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Mack doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer les garnitures. Le concessionnaire installera également des attaches de câble, au besoin.
