IN IMPORTED HIGHWAY AND SUBURBAN COACHES, A POSSIBLE BRAKE MALFUNCTION MAY BE CAUSED BY INCORRECT WHEEL BEARING ADJUSTMENTS OR IMPROPERLY POSITIONED SENSORS WHICH TRANSMIT PULSES TO THE ANTI-LOCK COMPUTER, WHICH INCORRECTLY INDICATES THAT A WHEEL LOCK-UP CONDITION EXISTS. THE EFFECT OF THIS IS TO CAUSE A LENGTHENING OF THE STOPPING DISTANCE WHEN THE BRAKES ARE FIRST APPLIED, FOLLOWED BY A SUDDEN BRAKE APPLICATION AT THE END OF THE VEHICLE STOP. rnSERIAL NUMBERS:- S8H 5304A 128 THROUGH 142 AND P8M 4905A 1177

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1975081.
