VEHICLES E3QUIPPED WITH MACK FA534 SERIES FRONT STEERING AXLES AND INTEGRAL HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING. THE STEERING KNUCKLES MAY HAVE A REDUCED FATIGUE LIFE AS A RESULT OF IMPROPER HEAT TREATMENT. A FAILURE OF A STEERING KNUCKLE WOULD RESULT IN A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING TO THE OPERATOR.
