1980 DODGE MIRADA AND CHRYSLER CORDOBA VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 318 CUBIC INCH 2 BARREL CARBURETOR ENGINES. MARGINALLY EXCESSIVE FRICTION IN THE CARBURETOR THROTTLE LINKAGE SYSTEM, CAUSED BY ASSEMBLY VARIATIONS, MAY RESULT IN THE TOTAL FRICTION LEVEL EXCEEDING THE FORCE CAPABILITY OF THE THROTTLE RETURN SPRINGS. THIS CONDITION MAY RESULT IN THE THROTTLE NOT PROPERLY RETURNING TO A CLOSED POSITION WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS RELEASED.
