SUPERCAB VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN BUILT WITHOUT A MIDSHIP FUEL TANK SHIELD. DURING A 30 M.P.H. FRONTAL BARRIER IMPACT AS DESCRIBED IN CANADA MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD 301 - FUEL SYSTEM INTEGRITY THE MIDSHIP FUEL TANK ON FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES MAY CONTACT THE TRANSFER CASE AND/OR THE DRIVESHAFT UNIVERSAL JOINT AND THE MIDSHIP FUEL TANK ON TWO WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES MAY CONTACT THE DRIVESHAFT UNIVERSAL JOINT. BOTH CONDITIONS MAY RESULT IN FUEL SPILLAGE WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE FIRE.
