THE SECONDARY HOOD CATCH MAY BIND IN AN OPEN POSITION DUE TO INADEQUATE CATCH TO MOUNTING BASE PIVOT SURFACE CLEARANCE. THIS CONDITION RESULTS IN AN INOPERATIVE SECONDARY CATCH WHICH MAY NOT RETAIN THE HOOD IN THE EVENT THE PRIMARY HOOD CATCH IS NOT ENGAGED.
