On certain C20, G1, G3 and K20 vehicles, the differential shaft lock screw loosens and falls out. Either the lock screw or the cross pin can become lodged in the rotating parts of the axle, which can cause extensive damage to the axle. If this were to occur while the vehicle was in motion, it could result in loss of vehicle control and an accident.
