Certain vehicles may have been assembled with the inner fender skirt contacting the right hand brake pipe. Vibration of the fender skirt could eventually cause a fatigue fracture in the brake pipe resulting in the loss of brake fluid and subsequent loss of front braking action. The rear brake system would remain functional. However, loss of front braking at a time when minimum stopping distance is required could result in a vehicle crash without prior warning.
