VEHICLES WERE BUILT WITH IMPROPERLY HEAT TREATED LEFT AND/OR RIGHT REAR SPINDLE ASSEMBLIES. IMPROPERLY HEAT TREATED SPINDLE STEMS ARE NOT HARDENED TO SPECIFICATION AND COULD BEND OR BREAK IN SERVICE. IF THE SPINDLE STEM WERE TO SEPARATE, LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL COULD OCCUR WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. rnCORRECTION: REAR SPINDLES WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES. V.I.N.
