Subaru JUSTY in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Subaru JUSTY is named on 1 British notices. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.
The British register
Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

ON VEHICLES WITH 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION AND 4WD THE DESIGN OF THE TRANSMISSION CASE DIPSTICK AND THE FLUID LEVEL CHECKING METHOD DESCRIBED IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL MAY RESULT IN INSUFFICIENT LUBRICATION OF THE 4WD EXTENSION BEARING. THIS COULD LEAD TO BEARING SEIZURE AND POSSIBLE REAR WHEEL LOCK-UP WHICH COULD IN TURN LEAD TO LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND A CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND THE TRANSMISSION CASE WILL BE FILLED TO THE PROPER FLUID LEVEL. A MODIFIED DIPSTICK WILL BE INSTALLED AND AN INSERT FOR THE OWNER'S MANUAL DESCRIBING THE CORRECT FLUID LEVEL CHECKING PROCEDURE WILL BE PROVIDED.
Transport Canada recorded this notice in capitals, as its system did for many years. It is reproduced here exactly as published.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1989031.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Subaru: 151 in the register, and 178 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 1989.
