THE REAR LIFTGATE GAS CYLINDER-TO-BODY ATTACHMENT BALL STUDS MAY FRACTURE. IF A BALL STUD FRACTURES, THE LIFTGATE WILL NOT REMAIN IN THE OPEN POSITION. BODILY INJURY COULD RESULT IF THE LIFTGATE DROPS WHILE SOMEONE IS UNDER IT. CORRECTION: BALL STUDS BUILT WITH HIGHER STRENGTH MATERIAL WILL BE INSTALLED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.
