ONE OR MORE OF THE BOLTS SECURING THE AUTOMATIC SHOULDER BELT RESTRAINT SYSTEM TRACKS TO THE B-PILLARS MAY NOT BE ADEQUATELY TIGHTENED. THIS MAY RESULT IN THE JOINTS HAVING LESS THAN THE DESIGNED STRENGTH THEREBY INCREASING THE RISK OF REDUCED SEAT BELT EFFECTIVENESS IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION. CORRECTION: PASSIVE RESTRAINT SYSTEM TRACK MOUNTING BOLTS WILL BE TIGHTENED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.

Transport Canada recorded this notice in capitals, as its system did for many years. It is reproduced here exactly as published.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1992113.
