On certain B600, B700, F600, F700, F800, FT900, LA9000, LL9000, LTA9000 and LTL9000 vehicles, a connector where the wiring for lamps mounted on the tilt hood attaches to the vehicle wire harness was built without sealing plugs in the unused cavities of the connector. Road salt, moisture or other contaminants may enter the connector, which could result in crossed circuits, shorts or corrosion of the wiring in the connector and a malfunction of the headlamps or other front-end lighting systems. Correction: Sealing plugs will be installed in the unused connector cavities. If corroded, a new connector will be installed.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1995097.
