Ford CROWN VICTORIA in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Ford CROWN VICTORIA is named on 3 American notices. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.
The American register
Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

NOTE: POLICE PACKAGE VEHICLES ONLY.
THE BOLTS THAT ATTACH THE FRONT UPPER CONTROL ARMS TO THE FRAME MOUNTING BRACKETS MAY LOOSEN WHEN SUBJECTED TO EXTREME OPERATING CONDITIONS. THIS COULD CAUSE THE BRACKET TO FRACTURE AT ONE OF THE BOLT HOLES, RESULTING IN A SUBSTANTIAL NEGATIVE CAMBER TO THE ASSOCIATED FRONT WHEEL AND A STEERING "PULL" TO THE COURSE OF VEHICLE TRAVEL. IF A VEHICLE WITH A LOOSE BRACKET ON THE LEFT SIDE WERE OPERATED UNTIL THE BRACKET FRACTURED AT BOTH BOLT HOLES, THE STEERING CONTROL ARM COULD CONTACT THE STEERING COLUMN SHAFT AND POSSIBLY RESULT IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
CORRECTION: TORQUE LEVELS OF THE FOUR UPPER CONTROL ARM BOLTS WILL BE CHECKED. IF ANY OF THE BOLTS ARE LOOSE, THE BRACKET(S) WILL BE INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE. IF DAMAGE IS PRESENT IT WILL BE REPAIRED.
Transport Canada recorded this notice in capitals, as its system did for many years. It is reproduced here exactly as published.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1995203.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Ford: 1,346 in the register, and 237 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 1995.
