THE ENGINE BRAKE, IF ENGAGED, WILL DEFEAT THE AUTOMATIC BRAKING CONTROL (ABS) SYSTEM. THE ENGINE BRAKE COULD LOCK UP THE REAR WHEELS ON A SLICK PAVEMENT, AND THE ABS SYSTEM WOULD NOT PREVENT THE LOCK UP.rnCORRECTION: WIRING WHICH CONNECTS THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU) TO THE ABS CONTROLLER WILL BE INSTALLED. THIS WILL ALLOW THE ABS TO OVERRIDE THE ENGINE BRAKE.
