On certain vehicles, a programming error in the ABS computer may allow the computer to misinterpret wheel revolutions under slow speed cornering on rough road surfaces. This could trigger a false ABS signal causing the ABS to engage unnecessarily and causing longer stopping distances than expected for the conditions. Correction: ABS computer module will be replaced.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2000168.
