Canada — Transport Canada, Vehicle Recalls Database
On certain high mileage vehicles (over 480,000 km), it is possible that the ball joint sealing boot can be perforated and grease leaks may occur. A joint with a perforated boot will have its life reduced. Correction: Sealing boot will be inspected for perforation and replaced if necessary. Ball joint will be inspected for play between the ball and the socket and if play is found, the upper A-arm will be replaced.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2000222.
