Certain trailers equipped with Sealco Spring Brake Control Valves, part number 110800 manufactured between September 1, 1997 and April 1 2000. These valves are subject to a corrosion failure of the snap ring which retains the guide pin. Such a failure will cause an unintentional application of the spring brakes. Correction: Sealco will provide a prevention kit to end use fleets.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2002090.
