Certain trucks equipped with a 2002 Caterpillar 3126E engine and an HEP8 injection oil pump were assembled with out of specification pump components and may experience a high pressure seal failure which could result in a short period of rough running and subsequent engine stall due to loss of injection actuation pressure. Once engine stall occurs, the engine cannot be restarted. Steering boost and primary braking would be limited, secondary braking would be available. Correction: The injection pump will be replaced.
