On certain vehicles, the engine ground strap connectors were improperly crimped onto the braided strap, causing the ground strap not to provide proper electrical ground between the engine and the chassis. If this happens, the electrical system will seek a ground at the ignition coil and may cause the coil's ground cable to overheat and the engine to stop. Correction: Dealer will replace the engine ground strap.
