On certain motorcycles during cold starts, a delay in the response of the oil pressure relief valve can occur allowing the oil pressure to momentarily rise high enough to deform the bottom plate of the oil filter. This could cause oil to leak from the oil filter and create the potential for a crash, resulting in injury or death. Correction: Dealer will replace the oil filter with a countermeasure oil filter.
