On certain vehicles, water intrusion into the sleeper berth's bunk control panel area may pool in the tops of the dome light, TV/VCR, and/or refrigerator power switches. The LED circuit boards in these switches may begin to heat up and possibly produce a flame or fire, without warning, that could cause property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealer will install a water shield over the back of the entire bunk control panel.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2004074.
