Canada — Transport Canada, Vehicle Recalls Database
On certain vehicles, the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) input sequence may cause the Body Control Module (BCM) software to actuate the power door lock motors continuously. This can cause the lock motor bearings to overheat and seize. If this occurs, the door lock system will become inoperative. Correction: Dealer will update the existing BCM software and inspect the door latch assemblies.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2004089.
