On certain trailers equipped with a Sealco 110500, 110700 or 110800 Spring Brake Control Valve manufactured from June 1, 2003 to November 17, 2003, the brass control port cap assembly in the brake valve's control port may contain a defective rubber band check valve. The check valve may develop a hole allowing air to escape back out the control line exhausting at either the foot valve in the tractor or any in-line quick release valve. Correction: Dealer will replace the brass control port cap assembly.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2004096.
