On certain snowmobile trailers, inadequate welds that attach the axle to the body of the trailer, over time, can fail. Failure of the axle welds while the trailer is being operated could result in the body of the trailer becoming separated from the axle, which could cause a vehicle accident resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and re-weld the axle to the body of the trailer.
