On certain motorhomes, the dash mounted air pressure gauges may be improperly calibrated. Although the low air warning alarm may be activated if the actual air reservoir pressure readings are below the required range, there may not be enough time to react before the spring (PARK) brakes engage, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will install a jumper harness to each air pressure sender.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2005148.
